Welcome to my website. I am a well experienced web-based software engineer and have been working professionaly in this area since 1999.
I have focused my expertise in the areas of Open Source Technologies, specifically the LAMP platform, but have worked extensivly with other various platforms. I hold two masters degrees, a Masters of Technology Management and a Masters of Computer Science both from Villanova University.
As my experience in software development has expanded and narrowed, I find myself constantly evolving into a stronger problem solver and have become very successful at technology design and integration. My current interestes are in search engine systems engineering and working on two revolutionary applications in this realm. Summon from Serials Solutions is truly breaking ground in the library industry to create a google like experience of the world of library content. The other is VuFind, an open source web based search engine for libraries.
This site will allow you to access my resume as well as my portfolio of work. You will also be able to read through some tutorials that I have written about topics that are very common yet seem to be difficult to find the answer to.
